Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today that it has received a 2016 Boeing Performance Excellence Award (BPEA). The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Western Aircraft maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the performance period, from Oct. 1, 2015, to Sept. 30, 2016.
This year, 480 suppliers achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Western Aircraft is among 402 suppliers to be awarded the Silver level of recognition and it is the company’s seventh consecutive year to be acknowledged.
“We are honored to receive this Supplier Excellence Award from Boeing,” said Western Aircraft’s Vice President and General Manager Austin Shontz. “Western Aircraft is committed to delivering quality services that exceed our customer’s expectations. Western Aircraft currently provides inspection and repair work on F-15 tire and wheel assemblies flown out of Mountain Home Air Force Base.
