Western Aircraft announces the appointment of Nick Chantorn as regional sales manager, jet, and the retirement of Doug Wendt following a long career in aviation.
Chantorn joins Western Aircraft as regional sales manager, jet, supporting MRO sales in the western region. He has more than 20 years of experience in aviation sales, client service and operations. Most recently, he served as director of sales for FXAIR/Flexjet. Prior to that, he held key roles with Gulfstream, NetJets and Signature Flight Support. His background includes managing large customer portfolios, supporting multi-site service center operations and building long-term client relationships across the business aviation sector. He is based in Southern California.
Western Aircraft also recognizes the retirement of Regional Sales Manager Doug Wendt, who concludes a long career in aviation sales and customer support.
Wendt’s career spans several decades and includes prior leadership roles with Gulfstream Aerospace, Honeywell Aerospace and Western Jet Aviation. Known for his deep industry knowledge and commitment to customer service, Wendt has been a respected presence in business aviation and a trusted partner to operators throughout his career.
