Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today that it has promoted Brett Woods to the position of Pilatus Regional Sales Director.
Mr. Woods joined Western Aircraft in 2007 as an A&P technician with the goal of one day becoming part of aircraft sales. In 2008, he joined the Aircraft Sales team as a contract administrator and in 2010 was promoted to Government Contract Manager MRO. Since 2011, Mr. Woods has served as the company’s Piper Aircraft Regional Sales Manager.
“Brett’s enthusiasm for Western Aircraft and his career are inspiring,” said Vice President for Aircraft Sales and Charter Phil Winters. “He has a tremendous appetite to learn and for continuous self-improvement and his efforts are making a difference for our team and company.”
In his new position, Mr. Woods will be responsible for new and pre-owned Pilatus PC-12 sales in Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska and Hawaii.
Mr. Woods has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Airframe and Powerplant from Idaho State University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Accounting from the University of Idaho and a Master in Business Administration from Northwest Nazarene University. Additionally, he holds both Airframe and Powerplant and Inspection Authorization licenses and is a Commercial Instrument pilot and Certified Flight Instructor.
