Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today that it has added two new faces to its staff.
Richard Heitzman joins the company as a Falcon MRO Sales Manager. He will be responsible for serving and growing MRO service sales with a focus on the Falcon product line. His territory will include Ariz., Colo., Mont., N.M., Ore., Texas, Wash., and Wyo.
Mr. Heitzman most recently served as a Sales Manager for AmSafe Inc., and also served as Service Center Relations Manager for Mooney Airplane Company.
A 10 year U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Heitzman holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences Degree in Business Management from Texas A&M University as well an Airframe and Powerplant license. He also holds a private pilot license.
Andrew Reed has also joined Western Aircraft as its Piper Team Lead/Tech Rep.
With 22 years aviation experience, Mr. Reed will serve as the primary Piper contact for customers in Western Aircraft’s territory for Piper support. In addition to his role as technical customer support of the Piper aircraft, he will lead Western Aircraft’s Piper team of mechanics.
He most recently worked as Director of Maintenance for Homer Air LLC, served as Shift Leader/Aircraft Mechanic for Defense Support Services, and Crew chief on Blackhawk helicopters as a civilian contractor for the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection.
Mr. Reed holds numerous certifications and licenses to include Airframe, Powerplant, and Inspection Authorization. He also holds a private pilot license as well as ASEL and AMEL instrument licenses.
