Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today that it has added John Crabtree as its Avionics Manager.
Mr. Crabtree’s primary responsibilities will include day-to-day operations of the avionics department, as well as avionics integration, installation, coordination of certification with engineering and customer service.
With more than 30 years in aviation, Mr. Crabtree most recently served as Avionics and Engineering Manager for Elliott Aviation and prior to that as Avionics Manager at Hawker Beechcraft Services.
A Navy veteran, Crabtree attended Avionics Technical School while on active duty. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, as well an Airframe and Powerplant and FCC General Radio Telephone Operator licenses.
