Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today that it has received its sixth OSHA Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) award.
“Safety is of utmost importance for our customers and our employees,” said Western Aircraft’s Manager of Environmental Health and Safety Jeff Wallin. “It is a team effort, and our goal is to be a leading example in the aviation industry through a continuously evolving safety program.”
Since 2006, Western Aircraft has been granted OSHA’s SHARP award, which covers multiple years, for its exemplary safety and training program. SHARP recognizes employers with less than 250 employees who maintain exemplary injury and illness prevention programs. It is one of the highest awards OSHA can give to a small company.
Western Aircraft is one of only nine companies in Idaho to achieve SHARP status.
