Avionics Manager

We are seeking a committed, experienced Avionics Manager interested in working in a fast paced, high volume shop. You will be joining an informed, talented team involved in all aspects of Install and Bench Services. We take pride in the quality of our products, our commitment to customers and look for a likeminded individual to oversee this department. Accounting Specialist

Western Aircraft has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Accounting Specialist. Duties include posting daily incoming receivables, GL accounts and schedules, month end closing, generating reports and analyzing accounting records. This person will provide key support to the Controller and Finance Manager as well as support and back up Accounts Payable duties.
Qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or; 5 or more years’ experience in a progressively growing accounting/finance role. Comprehension of bookkeeping fundamentals and previous experience working with sensitive and confidential information is necessary. Must be proficient with 10-key and have intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.

Quality Control Avionics Inspector

Western Aircraft, a premier aviation company, is seeking a QC Avionics Inspector to join our team of professionals. Qualified candidate is certificated under Part 65, has 10 years’ experience working for a repair station and 5 years with business aircraft. Duties include performing in-progress and final inspections on articles under assembly, repair, modification and/or alteration’s, and review STC compliant packages and write aircraft maintenance records, FAA form 337, Aircraft Flight Manual Supplements, and complete weight & balance calculations. Ensure all maintenance performed is in accordance with FAA regulations, Repair Station Manual and the OEM maintenance manuals. Professional demeanor, strong communication and computer skills, knowledge of FAR’s and ability to handle multiple priorities/deadlines is also a must. Customer Service Representative

Western Aircraft Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Representative. Qualified candidates will have a flexible schedule with at least 2 years customer service experience, data entry experience, strong communication skills, positive attitude and a valid driver’s license. Primary shift will include weekend and evenings anywhere between the hours of 6 am and 11 pm, 7 days a week. Willingness to cover other shifts as needed (on-call) is required as well as availability for overtime. Starting pay is $13.50/hr. and we offer a complete benefits package including 401K. Director of Maintenance

Western Aircraft has an exciting opportunity to join our Charter department as a Director of Maintenance in an existing flight department. This full time, salaried position requires some weekend and overnight work. Qualified candidate will have five years’ experience with 135 Operation, be an Airframe & Powerplant Certificate holder and have a minimum of five years’ experience working in aircraft maintenance environment. Must be a team player, have the ability to manage, track and write reports with excellent communication and phone skills. Preference will be given to candidates with Pilatus training.

Line Service Fueling Technician

Embark on a new career powered by Jet Fuel! Western Aircraft has an opening for a Line Service Technician who will be responsible for fueling, towing & marshalling various aircraft. Qualified candidate must be 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, capable of lifting 50 pounds over the head, have great flexibility/availability for scheduling, and enjoy working outdoors in all climates. Wage starts at $12.00/hr. including eligibility of rapid increases for motivated personnel with potential of reaching $15.00/hr. in as little as 12 months. PC12 Charter Pilot

Western Aircraft has an exciting opportunity in our Charter department for a qualified pilot to join an existing flight department operating late model Pilatus PC12 aircraft as captain on both 135 and 91 flights. This full time, salaried position requires some weekend and overnight work. ATP, current first class medical, 135 experience and turbine time required as well as single pilot PIC, instrument and night hours. A minimum of 2500 flight hours or Pilatus PC12 Experience necessary. We offer a competitive wage and benefits package to include 401k. Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Western Aircraft, a Boise based FBO, is seeking certified A & P Technicians with two or more years’ experience in Corporate Aviation to join our growing team of aviation professionals. Duties include maintenance and repair on turboprop aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations. Requires a valid driver’s license and rotating on-call airline support and availability for occasional travel.
