Warehouse Manager

Western Aircraft has an exciting opportunity to join our OTC Parts Sales team in Boise.  We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the day to day operations in our busy warehouse.  The Manager is responsible for supervising warehouse employees, managing the accuracy of inventory and has total inventory control over parts and materials coming in and out of Western Aircraft.  This position manages the inventory database, supports and enforces an environment of FIFO and performs various reporting functions in support of the department.

Qualified candidate will have 5 or more years’ experience in an Inventory Control function. 1 year working with a computer database and minimum 5 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably in the aviation or automotive industry.  Must be proficient in using MS Office, have strong initiative and judgment, attention to detail and ability to handle and confidential matters. Successful candidate will have excellent communication and phone skills, strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and professional demeanor, excellent organizational skills, time management and remain flexible while demonstrating the ability to work well under stress, despite numerous interruptions.

Interior Installer Tech 1
Interior Installer Tech 1 is responsible for assisting with the removal and re-installation of products for aircraft interior furnishings and components. This position is designed to train individuals in the basic functions of aircraft interior installations. Preferred candidate will be mechanically inclined, have a flexible schedule and be willing to work overtime when needed. Duties include assisting in the removal and re-installation of aircraft components such as carpets, seats, headliners, wall panels and cabinetry. The successful candidate will also be required to have their own tools. Employment is contingent on passing a security background check and pre-employment drug screen. Tobacco/Drug Free Workplace. Parts Sales Representative – SWING SHIFT
Western Aircraft is seeking an experienced inside sales representative. Selected candidate will work with a dynamic team of Parts Sales professionals who provide world class service to our expanding customer base. Duties include: Providing verbal & electronic quotes for parts & materials that meet margin requirements, sell parts from warehouse and broker parts through approved vendors, create purchase orders, verify proper payment and assist customers in achieving on time arrival of product, offer information and service to customers having warranty/damage issues and interact positively with a diverse range of personalities and customer base.

The successful candidate will have AA degree (or equivalent work exp.), knowledge of aviation practice & procedure, 2 or more years sales and customer service experience in aviation or auto industry, computer skills including data entry, excellent telephone etiquette, and a professional demeanor. Preference will be given to applicants with inbound call center experience and who are available for occasional travel to out of area customer locations.  Primary shift will be Monday through Friday, 3 pm to 12 midnight.  We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Avionics Sales Account Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Sales Team at Western Aircraft!  We are seeking someone with great attention to detail and a solid avionics background to assist our Sales team in continually exceeding our customers’ expectations. As the Avionics Sales Account Manager supporting MRO Sales, you will generate quotes, set up new customer accounts, and maintain aircraft and customer information in our CRM system while acting as the liaison with existing customers. The qualified candidate will have 5 years’ experience in Aircraft Modification Supervision, 10 years’ experience in Avionics Modification and Alteration and a working knowledge of the Falcon, Hawker, Citation, Beechjet, Pilatus, Piper, King Air and Caravan airframes. Preferred candidates will have an FCC license, FAA Repairman’s certificate or A&P certificate and Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Aviation related study.  Must be a team player with excellent communication skills. Service Manager
Western Aircraft, a premier aviation company, is seeking an MRO Turbo Prop Service Manager to join our team of Aviation Professionals. Turbo Prop Service Managers oversee and manage aircraft operations successfully, profitably and safely while meeting goals and expectations of the customer and the company. Duties include but are not limited to: overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, serving as a liaison between customer and Western Aircraft, providing cost estimates and obtaining approvals, administration of work orders and timely delivery of projects. Qualified Candidate will have an A&P Certificate, a minimum of 6 years recent experience in corporate aviation and 4 or more years supervising a staff of 10 or more. Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Turbo Prop
Western Aircraft, a Boise based FBO, is seeking certified A & P Technicians with two or more years’ experience in Corporate Aviation to join our growing team of aviation professionals. Duties include maintenance and repair on turboprop aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations. Requires a valid driver’s license and rotating on-call airline support and availability for occasional travel. Must be a team player and have strong desire to exceed customer expectations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working on King Air or Pilatus airframes. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including 401k and relocation assistance.
