MRO Sales Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join Western Aircraft as part of our MRO sales team! As a Regional Sales Manager you are responsible for growing our MRO service sales with a focus on Jet airframes. The successful candidate should possess strong sales skills and ambition, an understanding of aircraft operator needs, solid team skills and a basic understanding of jet aircraft. The MRO Regional Sales Manager will proactively pursue new business by cold-calling, developing the account, identifying opportunities, generating a statement of work, presenting the quote and closing the deal. A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in aviation marketplace is required and preference will be given to those with experience in aviation services sales. Experience interpreting Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, and technical directives, excellent computer skills, and professional appearance and demeanor are mandatory. Candidate must live near a major city in territory (preferably Boise, ID) and be able to travel 50% of the time. Western Aircraft Inc. has an exciting opportunity in our Charter department! We are looking for someone with an upbeat, positive personality who is committed to providing outstanding customer service to join our team as Charter Coordinator. Responsible for managing on demand charter flights for a fleet of business aircraft the charter coordinator will generate quotes, itineraries, and invoices as well as provide administrative support to the department. Other Duties include schedule and dispatch flights; arrange requested services such as ground transportation, lodging, and catering and produce monthly statements for managed aircraft. Primary shift will be Wednesday-Friday 11am-8pm, Saturday-Sunday 8am-5pm. Qualified candidate will have Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative and/or customer service role and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Preference will be given to those with Business Aviation background. Employment is contingent on passing pre-employment drug screen and background check. Qualified candidates will have 5 or more years’ experience working in the Business Aviation Avionics market and preference will be given to those with a Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline. Candidates must possess a solid knowledge of business aviation avionics systems, interfaces, manufacturers, and marketplace trends. Position requires travel up to 50% of the time, handling several projects simultaneously, and working in a fast paced environment while remaining flexible. We are currently seeking a certified Airframe & Powerplant Technician with zero to two years of recent aviation experience. Duties include maintenance and repair on jet & turboprop aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and Repair Station guidelines. Position requires a valid driver’s license, rotating on-call airline support, and availability for second shift and occasional travel. Our Sales Team is a closely-knit unit with an unwavering dedication to our customers and a strong sense of camaraderie. We are looking for a like-minded Interior salesperson with 5 years’ experience in the corporate (VIP) aircraft interior industry. As the Interior Sales Manager you are responsible for increasing company sales/profit by selling aircraft interior solutions to aircraft operators with a focus on the Falcon, Hawker, Challenger and Pilatus product lines. The successful candidate should possess strong sales skills and ambition, an understanding of aircraft operator needs, solid team skills and familiarity with industry vendors, regulations and current procedures. A Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing or technical degree is preferred. A working knowledge of business aircraft and aviation, excellent computer skills, and professional appearance and demeanor are mandatory. Candidate must be able to travel 50% of the time.
