Maintenance Tech 1
Western Aircraft has an exciting opportunity to join our Maintenance team in Boise as a Maintenance Technician. This is an entry level position opening. We are currently seeking a certified Airframe & Powerplant Technician with zero to two years of recent aviation experience. Duties include maintenance and repair on jet & turboprop aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and Repair Station guidelines. Position requires a valid driver’s license, rotating on-call airline support, and availability for second shift and occasional travel. Aircraft Maintenance Intern

Line Service Fueling Technician

Wage starts at $12.00/hr. including eligibility of rapid increases for motivated personnel with potential of reaching $13.50/hr. in just 6 months. Western Aircraft, a leader in the business aviation industry, is looking for a QA Inspector to join our team of Maintenance professionals. The QA Inspector performs log book research of customer aircraft and compiles records to determine the current status for airworthiness determination. Secondary duties are to perform in-progress and final inspections on articles under assembly, repair, modification and/or alteration and ensure all maintenance performed is in accordance with FAA regulations, the RSM (Repair Station Manual), and OEM maintenance manuals for approval of any article for Return to Service. Qualified candidate must have A&P Certification, at least 10 years’ experience working in a repair station, 5 years with business aircraft and have experience conducting aircraft records review for large and small aircraft. Strong communication and computer skills, knowledge of code of federal regulations for aviation and ability to handle multiple priorities/deadlines is also a must. Interior Sales Manager
Our Sales Team is a closely-knit unit with an unwavering dedication to our customers and a strong sense of camaraderie. We are looking for a like-minded Interior salesperson with 5 years’ experience in the corporate (VIP) aircraft interior industry. As the Interior Sales Manager you are responsible for increasing company sales/profit by selling aircraft interior solutions to aircraft operators with a focus on the Falcon, Hawker, Challenger and Pilatus product lines. The successful candidate should possess strong sales skills and ambition, an understanding of aircraft operator needs, solid team skills and familiarity with industry vendors, regulations and current procedures. A Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing or technical degree is preferred. A working knowledge of business aircraft and aviation, excellent computer skills, and professional appearance and demeanor are mandatory. Candidate must be able to travel 50% of the time. Cabinet Technician 3 Lead
Qualified candidate for the Cabinet Technician Tech 3 Lead position is primarily responsible for the building and covering of cabinetry and wood furnishings for corporate and V.I.P. aircraft interiors. The Tech 3 Lead will also be responsible for leading projects, including direct oversite of team, to ensure the required resources are applied to adequately complete projects on schedule and on budget. Required skills include: Ability to construct, refurbish and/or modify corporate aircraft cabinetry utilizing industry standard tools/equipment, process specifications and drawings. Other abilities such as ability to apply veneer, laminate and shaped hardwood as it applies to aircraft cabinetry construction. Must have 5 years’ experience in aviation cabinetry, a basic knowledge of burn certification requirements, be results driven and detail oriented. Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills and ability to successfully problem solve are also required.
